The Human Resources Administrator contributes to the goals of the Human Resources department by providing efficient and high level assistance in the administration of the day-to-day operations, functions and duties of the department.

What does a great Human Resources Administrator do?

  • Ability to answer HR questions and provide guidance to employees on HR inquiries
  • Support the new hire onboarding process including document collection, and conducting background checks
  • Ensure all employee files are complete and in compliance including making photocopies, faxing and other clerical functions as needed
  • Assist with all HR reporting and metrics data, ability to run ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Complete employment verifications, unemployment requests, as well as I9 and e-verify verifications
  • Maintain the HRIS database, including weekly/monthly payroll updates.
  • Maintain company org charts
  • Assist in the coordination of various programs: corporate events, employee engagement events
  • Understand and communicate company policies to employees
  • Manage the Internship Program
  • Conduct compliance checks for all North-American offices

Requirements for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years HR experience
  • Previous administrative and scheduling experience in a fast-paced office environment preferred
  • Exposure to dealing with confidential and sensitive information required
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and legalities to hiring a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-through skills. Strict attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly visible position
  • Very strong computer skills. *Outlook/SharePoint skills must be excellent
  • High level of resourcefulness and strong team player
  • Ability to multi-task is essential, with a keen sense of priorities and sense of urgency
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
