    Purpose of Position

    As Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing copy and developing concepts for our clients’ creative campaigns. As well as defining the strategy, coming up with ideas and writing creative copy for recruitment marketing (which could cover everything from traditional to online, social and experiential) you’ll also get to present and pitch these ideas to internal teams, existing clients and new business prospects.

    • Define and translate client needs into strategic documents and campaigns.
    • Unravel complex propositions and explain them in an engaging way.
    • Develop big ideas that inspire every level of our clients’ strategies across digital, media and beyond.
    • Feed into, or drive, the strategy of project, liaising directly with client service and clients.
    • Get involved in client problem solving alongside project managers, digital strategists, producers and client service.
    • Write and develop effective headlines, body copy and long-form copy for all advertising, which could include traditional ad campaigns, EVPs, websites, email campaigns, banner advertising, social media, mobile marketing, gaming, creative rationales, RFPs, presentations and pitches.
    • Edit, proofread and give constructive feedback on all written deliverables for the team.
    • Collaborate with creative team members throughout all phases of a project, especially brainstorming sessions.
    • Bring ideas to life and sell concepts internally and externally.
    • Own projects from beginning to end and manage the presentation of your work to creative directors, account teams and clients
    • Continually stay abreast of best practices and trends for content, social media, advertising, PR and digital technologies that will make a difference to what we do.

    • A background in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field.
    • Agency experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrable creative ability.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to be flexible, adapt to quick changes, and work under tight deadlines.
    • Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and share learnings.
