TMP's ongoing commitment to our global customers and our worldwide network of partners was showcased this past June at the Global Customer Summit in London.
Global customers and partners from Europe and the Americas joined TMP senior leadership for the lively two-day summit. Now in its second year, the annual summit is a way to network and share best practices. It also provides the opportunity to meet with local TMP contacts from 15 countries around the globe.
The year's agenda was based on a customer survey and included a variety of timely topics.
Day one began with Scott Pitasky, General Manager for Talent Acquisition at Microsoft. During his keynote address, Scott challenged participants to think of talent acquisition in new and different ways, and to lead their organizations to better segment talent supply and demand. The summit then continued with a lively panel discussion on online recruiting.
Other topics of the day included the measuring of results from employer branding, exploring emerging markets of India and China and a look into emerging technologies, including social networking and mobile marketing.
And because no TMP event is all work and no play, over 40 participants enjoyed an evening out, including a private flight on the London Eye and dinner at the OXO Tower overlooking the Thames River.
Day two began and ended with a series of informal, client-led networking discussions that focused on topics including the aging workforce, the future of the global career site, next-generation university relations programs and recruiting from emerging markets.
A website has been developed with all presentations and transcripts from the summit. If you are a TMP Worldwide customer and would like access to these materials, please email global@tmp.com.
